Genshin Impact Crunchyroll Collab Guide: Get Exclusive V7.0 Rewards

There are plenty of ways to celebrate a huge Genshin Impact update, but HoYoverse apparently decided that the arrival of Snezhnaya deserved something a little extra. Version 7.0 is already a massive deal for anyone who has spent years wandering around Teyvat, and now the game is getting a limited-time Crunchyroll collaboration packed with bonus goodies.

The event runs from August 12 through September 22, 2026, and honestly, the reward I’m most interested in isn’t even the Primogems. Sure, 40 Primogems are 40 Primogems, and I’ll happily take them, especially when banners have a habit of eating my entire stash. But the real prize here is the Neo Terminal: Floating Leaf Model Gadget Pet, which gives this collaboration a much more interesting collector appeal.

There is one giant catch, though: this promotion is not available everywhere and isn’t designed for every Genshin server. That could be a serious headache if you play on Europe or Asia.

What Do You Actually Get From the Crunchyroll Event?

The reward system is tied to your Crunchyroll Premium membership tier. So, yes, this isn’t one of those completely free promotional codes that everyone can grab after logging into a website.

The basic Fan membership gets the standard resource package, while Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan subscribers get access to the exclusive cosmetic companion as well.

Crunchyroll TierPrimogemsOther RewardsExclusive Gadget

Mega Fan403 Mystic Enhancement Ore, 3 Hero’s Wit, 20,000 MoraYes
Ultimate Fan403 Mystic Enhancement Ore, 3 Hero’s Wit, 20,000 MoraYes

The standard bundle isn’t going to completely transform your account. 40 Primogems won’t suddenly fund a five-star character, and three Hero’s Wit books are basically pocket change once you’ve been playing for a while. Still, free resources are free resources, and the Mora and enhancement materials are useful when you’re burning through everything while building a new character.

The Neo Terminal is where this promotion gets much more tempting.

The Neo Terminal Pet Is the Real Prize

I’m going to be blunt: if this collaboration only offered 40 Primogems and some Mora, I wouldn’t be particularly excited.

The Neo Terminal: Floating Leaf Model Gadget Pet changes that.

It’s a cosmetic floating companion that can accompany your character while you’re exploring Teyvat. For collectors, long-time Travelers, and anyone who enjoys filling out their gadget collection, this is the kind of limited promotional item that can become surprisingly annoying to miss.

That’s the problem with Genshin’s limited-time cosmetics. You might not care today. Six months later, you’re looking through your inventory and suddenly thinking, ‘Wait, why didn’t I get that thing?’

According to the supplied promotion details, the companion is also making its debut on the America server through this event, which makes it especially interesting for players who collect region-specific rewards.

And yes, I know some players will look at a floating pet and say, ‘It’s just a cosmetic.’

Those people are technically correct.

I’m still getting it if I can.

The Biggest Catch: Your Genshin Server Matters

This is the part I would check before doing anything else.

The Crunchyroll collaboration codes are tied to the America server. If your main Genshin account is on Europe, Asia, or TW/HK/MO, you can’t simply grab the code and transfer the rewards to your normal character.

That restriction is probably going to annoy a lot of players.

Imagine having an active Crunchyroll subscription, qualifying for the promotion, going through the entire process, and then discovering that your main account is on the wrong server. That’s exactly the sort of thing that can turn an exciting promotion into five minutes of staring at an error message.

The promotion is also geographically restricted. The campaign is intended for eligible subscribers in the United States, Canada, and participating Latin American markets, with Cuba specifically excluded.

So there are two separate things to check:

  • Are you located in an eligible region?
  • Is your Genshin account on the America server?

If either answer is no, don’t assume the code will work.

How to Claim the Genshin Impact Crunchyroll Code

If you’re eligible, the actual process isn’t particularly complicated. The annoying part is simply remembering that the code comes from Crunchyroll first and then has to be redeemed through Genshin.

1. Claim the Reward From Crunchyroll

Starting August 12, sign into your qualifying paid Crunchyroll account and visit the dedicated Genshin Impact promotion page.

Look for the Version 7.0 promotional event and select the reward claim option. Your account tier determines which reward package becomes available.

Crunchyroll should then provide a unique redemption code.

Copy it carefully. These codes aren’t the kind of thing I would manually type character by character unless you enjoy wondering whether that last symbol was an ‘O’ or a zero.

2. Redeem the Code Through Genshin Impact

You have two ways to redeem it.

Browser method: Use the official Genshin Impact redemption system, sign into the HoYoverse account connected to your character, select the America server, verify your character information, and enter the Crunchyroll code.

In-game method: Open Genshin Impact and enter the Paimon menu. Go into Settings, choose Account, and select Redeem Code. Paste the code into the field and confirm it.

Your account needs to have reached Adventure Rank 2 or higher before you can use the redemption system.

3. Check Your In-Game Mail

Once the code has been accepted, head back into the game and open your mailbox.

Your rewards should arrive through in-game mail. Select the relevant message and collect everything.

If you’re receiving the Mega Fan or Ultimate Fan reward package, this is also where you’ll get access to the Neo Terminal gadget.

Don’t Wait Until the Last Day

The promotion ends on September 22, 2026, and I wouldn’t recommend treating that date like a challenge.

Limited-time Genshin promotions have a nasty habit of disappearing from your mental radar. You see the announcement, think ‘I’ll do that later,’ then suddenly it’s September 21 and you’re wondering where the month went.

If you’re already paying for a qualifying Crunchyroll membership, there’s really no reason to leave the reward sitting there.

The resource bundle is modest, but the cosmetic companion is considerably more interesting for anyone who likes collecting exclusive Genshin items. And if you’re heading into Snezhnaya with a fresh character to build, every little pile of Mora, Hero’s Wit, and enhancement ore helps.

My Take on the Collaboration

I actually like this crossover more than I expected to.

Not because the resource rewards are incredible—they aren’t. 40 Primogems is hardly going to make a whale or longtime veteran fall out of their chair. The interesting part is the limited cosmetic reward and the fact that HoYoverse is using Crunchyroll to reach directly into the anime audience that already overlaps heavily with Genshin’s player base.

The regional restrictions are the frustrating bit. An America-server-only reward immediately makes the promotion feel less universal, especially when Genshin has such a massive international community. Players on European and Asian servers are understandably going to look at the Neo Terminal and wonder why they can’t have the same opportunity.

Still, if you’re an eligible player on the America server, this is one of those promotions I’d simply grab and move on. It takes very little effort, costs nothing extra beyond the qualifying Crunchyroll membership, and gives you a limited cosmetic that could become much harder to obtain later.

And let’s be honest: when Snezhnaya is finally here and you’re already spending Primogems like they’re going out of style, I’ll take every free reward I can get.
